Finding your Unique Selling Point (USP)

Sex work is like any business. You may have the best-looking product, but you need a hook to make customers want to purchase it. There are already millions of nude images and videos online, so why one earth would someone want to purchase your content when they can find so much more for free? This is where your UPS comes into play.


While it’s true that porn is free online, you need to give customers something they can’t find anywhere else. Most models in the industry have a mix of traits (whether physically or personality) which combine to make their USP. For example, I have a big bum, but also have tattoos, an alternative look, am into gaming and have a British accent. These traits tie together to make a very specific customer base. While these help me secure a very niche market, it’s also important to be open to changes in order to reach a wider audience. For example, a lot of the time I only stress my big bum or my alternative look in certain videos, so I can still secure fans who are perhaps only interested in one of my traits.


Examples of other popular UPS traits can include; fetish work, DDLG, watching anime, cosplay, girl next door look, being nerdy, etc. It can include pretty much anything you can possibly imagine a personality trait to be. It mainly just depends on being yourself and finding customers with similar interests to you, who are also attracted to your body type. It can be difficult to start off with, but if you stick with your USP instead of constantly changing it up, you will find yourself with a loyal customer base.
